Listed below are organisations to receive money from Charter Fayre 2007: Alzheimers Society £500.00 Huntington’s Disease Association £500.00 Kenn & Kennford W.I £500.00 Kenn Parish Church £500.00 Kenn School £250.00 Kenn Cricket Club £200.00 Playgroup £200.00 Sea Cadets £150.00 Gymnastics £100.00 Pet Show £100.00 Charter Fayre 2006 The good news is that you and the Charter Fayre 2006 raised over £3000 and was able to distribute more money than in any previous year to village groups and charities. A grand total £2,850 was distributed as follows: Children's Hospice (SW) £ 500 W I £ 425 Haldon Views £ 400 Kenn Primary School £ 225 Kenn/Kennford Cricket Club £ 325 Guide Dogs for the Blind £ 100 Kenn Parish Church £ 225 Playgroup £ 150 Sea Cadets (Exeter) £ 300 Macmillan Nurses £ 200 Total £2,850 In addition the Village Hall made £500 on the barbeque (that’s a lot of burgers!). Funds have also been set aside for the senior's “Christmas Do”, which as you know did not take place at the end of 2006. We understand that there are still plans for something and the funds are there when the organisers are able to put the plans in motion!
